Legislation could allow EMT’s to carry firearms while working #billoftheday #msleg

By: Magnolia Tribune - January 3, 2018

A bill sitting in the House could allow Emergency Medical Technicians to carry a firearm while on the job. HB26 will be sent first to Judiciary B for delegation.

It would require the State Board of Health to create rules and regulations that would allow their EMT’s to carry firearms. However, those carrying must have proper permits to do so under state law.
