Jackson Councilman Stokes slams state Superintendent Carey Wright

Jackson City Councilman Kenneth Stokes drafted a resolution that slams state Superintendent of Education Carey Wright, but decided against presenting it before the City Council Tuesday….

…In the resolution, Stokes writes that Wright exhibits unprofessional behavior, displays insensitivity and has a “personal attitude” toward the city of Jackson and the Jackson Public School District.

Stokes concludes that Wright’s leadership “will serve only to lead students from the school to the confines of imprisonment.”
