Mississippi housing 1200 federal prisoners from Puerto Rico

State is housing 1,200 federal prisoners from Puerto Rico

About 1,200 federal prisoners from Puerto Rico are now housed at the federal correctional facility in Yazoo City.

U.S. Court Clerk Arthur Johnston for the Southern District of Mississippi confirmed that Mississippi agreed to house the prisoners in the aftermath of the devastation in Puerto Rico from Hurricane Maria.
