House Democrats led by Mississippi Rep. Bennie Thompson are calling on Congress to hold hearings on domestic terrorism, including the growing threat of white supremacists…

…“What we’ve tried to say to McCaul is there are more people in this country doing bad things in the name of terrorism than radical Islamist terrorists,’’ Thompson, the top Democrat on the committee, said in an interview earlier this week. “That the majority of terrorist activities that have occurred in this country have been by American citizens on American citizens. We’ve got to talk about that.”
