Horn Lake board votes to hire ex-Southaven mayor Davis; Mayor Latimer says he’ll veto

Davis chides Horn Lake Mayor Latimer in post

Ex-Southaven Mayor Greg Davis issued a post on social media Wednesday chastising Horn Lake Mayor Allen Latimer for “impeding” any potential appointment as that city’s economic development advisor/recruiter.

Davis had temporarily been tapped to advise the city on its budget in a nonpaid, voluntary manner by the Horn Lake board in a 5-2 vote last week….

…”I did say that if the board voted to hire him (Davis) that I would veto it,” Latimer said.
