State Rep. Mark Baker on lottery: Shouldn’t we put our people first? I’m an unqualified YES!

By: Magnolia Tribune - August 24, 2017

State Rep. Mark Baker uses Powerball to show support of state lottery in Mississippi in Facebook post:

“Powerball is over 700mm. Delta LA, convenience stores are humming. Counted over 100 vehicles with Mississippi tags in the parking lot. Looks like the place turns over every 20 minutes or so. Whether Mississippians will spend money on the lottery is an answered question. The question now is rather than fixing the roads and educating the children of Louisiana, Tennessee, Arkansas, shouldn’t we put our people first? I’m an unqualified YES!”
