Two Nations, One Belief in Freedom – An AIFL Event in Meridian, Mississippi, Thursday, September 28, 2017
Rep. Greg Snowden, Mississippi House Speaker Pro Tempore and Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood have organized a community event to celebrate Israel’s 69th Birthday, the strong relationship between the people of the United States and Israel and to benefit the mission of the America-Israel Friendship League (AIFL). The venue has been filled with advanced reservations.
The program will feature Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant; Consul General of Israel, Lior Haiat; Hon. Robert Abrams, Former Attorney General of New York State (1979 to 1993); Speaker Snowden and AG Hood. Both Speaker Snowden and Attorney General Hood are alumni of the AIFL’s Leadership Delegations to Israel Program, chaired by Hon. Robert Abrams.
The America-Israel Friendship League would like to thank Speaker Snowden; Attorney General Hood; Bill Hannah/ East Mississippi Development Corporation and the Meridian Jewish Community for making Two Nations, One Belief in Freedom a success.
