MS Truth Journal found that being insured on the ACA “exchange” may well be more than lower income Mississippians bargained for, with the most selected plan’s medical deductibles ranging from $4,500 to $6,500. According to CMS, most Mississippians who selected these plans have income ranging from 100% to 150% of the federal poverty rate ($12,060 for an individual to $24,600 for a family of four). Affordable health care? You decide.
