MDE proposes new diploma options
BILOXI – Mississippi high school students could see new diploma options during the 2018-19 school year designed to better prepare them for college and career.
The Mississippi State Board of Education (SBE) voted today to invite public comment on a Mississippi Department of Education proposal that would give students the opportunity to earn an endorsement with their high school diploma and would aim to have the majority of students with disabilities earn a traditional diploma.
