Mississippi lawmaker confirmed to workers comp group, leaving House
The state Senate voted unanimously Tuesday to approve Rep. Mark Formby of Picayune for a commission term that begins April 15 and runs through 2022.
Formby must resign from the House seat he has held since 1993. Republican Gov. Phil Bryant will call a special election to fill the District 108 seat in Pearl River County.
