Wicker Statement on Death of Fidel Castro
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., today issued the following statement regarding the death of Fidel Castro:
“Fidel Castro may be gone, but the oppression and tyranny characterized by his iron-handed rule continue to grip the island and its people. I call on the regime to reject the methods of the past and deliver much needed political and human rights reforms to the Cuban people.”
