Wives of government officials arrested for shoplifting
JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) – The wives of a state lawmaker and county constable were arrested in the Belk Department store in Northpark Mall for shoplifting. Thirty six year old Amanda Vance Miles of Forest and 49 year old Sheri Prestage of Morton were caught with more than $2,000.00 in jewelry.
Miles is the wife of District 75 State Representative Tom Miles who represents Rankin and Scott Counties. Prestage is the wife of Scott County Constable Richard Prestage.
