House Ed chair Rep. Moore: House Republican Caucus not advancing all elected school board bill

By: Magnolia Tribune - March 9, 2016

Mississippi House Education chairman Rep. John Moore (R) told Paul Gallo on his SuperTalk radio appearance Wednesday morning that the House Republican Caucus voted to not advance an all elected school board bill.

An all appointed public school superintendents bill is still alive.

Moore indicated his displeasure with not advancing both, saying the public deserves a voice in their local education decisions.
