Cochran questions proposed Army aviation cuts
WASHINGTON (WTVA) — U.S. Senator Thad Cochran has raised concerns about proposed military aviation cuts for the U.S. Army in the proposed 2017 budget.
Cochran, the chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee and its Subcommittee on Defense, is asking military leaders to explain a 38 percent decrease in the aircraft procurement budget.
