Mississippi Power Requests Rate Increase
In the filing, Mississippi Power is asking for approval of a 2 percent increase in retail revenues. A residential customer would see an estimated increase of $2.63 per 1,000 kilowatt hours per month under the proposed new rates.
The Mississippi Public Service Commission has not said when it will consider the plan.
