RNC Mississippi Committeeman Henry Barbour Endorses Marco Rubio For President

Today, Republican National Committee National Committeeman for Mississippi Henry Barbour endorsed Marco Rubio for president. Conservatives across Alabama are excited for Marco heading into the March 1 primary.
Along with serving as the National Committeeman for Mississippi on the RNC, Henry Barbour is a longtime political activist in Mississippi and other Southern states. He lives in Yazoo City, MS with his wife, and their three daughters.

Along with endorsing Marco on CNN, Henry Barbour issued the following statement:
“Marco Rubio has set himself apart as the one candidate who can win in November and start implementing conservative principles that expand opportunities across our country,” said Henry Barbour. “On the issues that matter most to Mississippians: strengthening our national defense, shrinking the size of government and upholding our values, Marco Rubio is the candidate who we can count on to stand up for us in the White House.

“His message of growing the American Dream to reach even more people and change more lives is exactly what our party should be standing for, and I’m confident that is what Marco will do as President,” Barbour continued. “I’m proud to be supporting him and hope people across this state will come together in voting for him in the primary on March 8th.

“What we need to do now is unite behind our strongest conservative candidate who can win both the nomination and the general election. Hands down, that is Marco Rubio. He is a natural contrast to Hillary Clinton. Future vs. the Past. Inspiring vs. Tedious. Dynamic vs. Tired.”
