No need to get off into this debate right now, but attention must be paid to one of the most tone-deaf political moves I’ve seen in a long time. Speaker Pro Tem Greg Snowden, R-Meridian — who by and large is a smart man — introduced a bill to have two separate state flags with equal status….

…The Religious Liberty Accommodations Act — now called the Protecting Freedom of Conscience From Government Discrimination Act (no lie!) — has more to do with political pandering than religious liberties. We already have religious liberties thanks to the First Amendment, so the PFCFGDA serves no purpose.
