@MSGOP highlights Central PSC race with profile of candidate Brent Bailey

By: Magnolia Tribune - October 7, 2015

Excerpt from MSGOP email:

Candidate of the Week:

Brent Bailey, Central District PSC

This week, we’re highlighting another great GOP candidate on this November’s ballot: Brent Bailey, running for the Public Service Commission for the Central District.

Brent will bring a wealth of experience to the Public Service Commission. His day job is with the 25x’25 Initiative, mobilizing support for energy efficiency and looking for ways to integrate Mississippi’s rich natural resources into a national energy strategy. In fact, as a member of the PSC, Brent wants to find ways to reduce your bills through energy diversification and create new Mississippi jobs by using our agriculture and forestry resources for renewable energy sources.

Brent’s primary goal at the PSC will be to ensure transparency and to encourage utility customers to get engaged with the Board. A graduate of East Central Community College and Mississippi State University, he lives in Madison with his wife Rhonda. You can learn more about Brent at http://brentbailey4psc.com/ and http://www.facebook.com/BrentBaileyforMSPublicServiceCommissioner.

The DeSoto Times-Tribune called this a “race worth watching.” If you live in one of the following counties, Brent Bailey will be on your ballot and he needs your vote:

Bolivar, Claiborne, Copiah, Hinds, Holmes, Humphreys, Issaquena, Jefferson, Kemper, Lauderdale, Leake, Madison, Neshoba, Newton, Noxubee, Rankin, Scott, Sharkey, Sunflower, Warren, Washington, Yazoo
