Oral arguments concluded Wednesday afternoon in the case involving ex-Southaven Mayor Greg Davis vs. State Auditor Stacey Pickering before a three-judge panel of the Mississippi Court of Appeals in Jackson.
Attorneys on behalf of Davis filed an appeal before the Mississippi Supreme Court in regard to a ruling that he owes $73,000 to the City of Southaven.
The final brief in the matter was filed March 19, 2015.
The court has 270 working days to render its decision. Following that timeline, a decision is expected before mid-December at the latest.
