State Auditor Stacey Pickering confirms his office has been working on a case involving Terry’s mayor since last year. The case against Roderick Nicholson was turned over to the Hinds County District Attorney’s office in July.
D-A Robert Smith is recusing himself from the case, but the Auditor issued a civil demand for $56,966.27 from Nicholson August 11, 2014.
