NESHOBA DEMOCRAT: EDITORIAL/Cochran for Senate
Tuesday’s U.S. Senate election is a fight for the soul of our country. The mounting $17 trillion debt is bankrupting America, as the big-government, European liberalism the Founders fled continues to infect U.S. public policy like the Ebola virus.
Most Americans are no better off now than they were six years ago. So the next eight years will be critical, and Mississippi needs a leader like Sen. Thad Cochran in the GOP-led fight for smaller, limited government.
America can boom again. We can lead. We can be a jobs creator with the right policy, with the right plan. Let’s do this!
Republican control of the U.S. Senate most likely will prevent President Obama from ever appointing anyone to the Supreme Court again, something those in the GOP?fold working against Mr. Cochran should consider, especially given the frequent 5-4 conservative majority decisions.
