Michael Janus plans to change not-guilty plea in public corruption case

Former D’Iberville City Manager Michael Janus intends to change his not-guilty plea to public corruption charges during a hearing scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday in U.S. District Court in Hattiesburg, according to the court docket.

The notice of a plea change was filed Friday afternoon. The plea hearing will take place before Judge Keith Starrett, who is presiding over the case against Janus and former Ocean Springs mayoral candidate Scott Walker.
