Lincoln County GOP commends Senators Cochran, Wicker after motion to censure

Sources tell Y’all Politics a motion to censure Mississippi US Senators Thad Cochran and Roger Wicker was made recently at the Lincoln County Republican Executive Committee but the measure died for lack of a second.

Following the motion to censure, a motion to commend both Cochran and Wicker was made, seconded, and passed unanimously.

Although not confirmed, perhaps the one who made the motion to censure was too shocked to vote against commending the Senators after such a strong showing for the two within the group.
