A former Meridian resident, James Everett Dutschke, pleaded guilty last week to sending the poison letters to Wicker, Mississippi judge, Sadie Holland, and President Obama.
“I appreciate the work of the prosecutors and law enforcement people, but I have tried to be relatively quiet about this,” said Wicker. “And I did think the state charges were much more serious than those that affected me.”
Wicker referred to Dutschke’s guilty plea two days ago to charges of fondling minors in his martial arts studio in Tupelo.
