Wicker, Nunnelee offer opinions on Syria situation
President Obama’s move to push for action against Syria — but wait for Congressional approval — is being met with considerable opinion from many lawmakers.
The President stresses the move will not involve troops on the ground.
U.S. Rep. Alan Nunnelee said via Twitter over the weekend that he’s glad President Obama is asking for authorization.
U.S. Sen. Roger Wicker also gave his assessment of the situation.
