Ole Miss changes Col. Rebel to Mr. Ole Miss in push to shed old mascot
A longtime honorary title was replaced Tuesday night by the University of Mississippi Associated Student Body Senate.
Student judicial leaders last spring declared unconstitutional the title “Colonel Reb,” a popularly elected male honor roughly equivalent to the female honor “Miss Ole Miss.”
