Michigan Senator To Speak At 78th annual meeting of the Delta Council

The Michigan Democrat who chairs the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee will be main speaker for the 78th annual meeting of the Delta Council, a regional group in Mississippi.

Sen. Debbie Stabenow is scheduled to speak at 10:30 a.m. May 17 at Delta State University. She will be introduced by Sen. Thad Cochran of Mississippi, the ranking Republican on the Agriculture Committee.

Stabenow has served in the Senate 13 years.
