Senate Ed Cmte shoots down Gunn’s appointment of Bomgar
The Senate gave House Speaker Philip Gunn a parting one-finger howdy as the 2013 session ends, shooting down his appointment of Joel Bomgar to the state Board of Education by an 8-7 vote in the Senate Education Committee.
Sen. Brice Wiggins, R-Pascagoula, disagreed with the move.
