Mississippi GOP congratulates Brent Powell for winning House District 59

The MSGOP congratulates Brent Powell for winning House District 59:

“The MSGOP is proud to have another member of the House, fighting for conservative values. We know Brent will serve his constituents and the state of Mississippi well,” MSGOP Chairman Joe Nosef said.

Governor Phil Bryant stated “I have known Brent for most of his life, and I certainly congratulate him on being elected to the Mississippi House of Representatives. I held that same seat at the beginning of my service in elected office, and I look forward to watching him be sworn in and getting to work for the people of District 59.”

Powell won the District 59 race yesterday during a special election.
