Gov. Phil Bryant praises U.S. Rep. Gregg Harper at victory celebration
Some of Mississippi’s most powerful officials were on hand Tuesday night to congratulate U.S. Rep. Gregg Harper on his win to a third term.
Among the high ranking politicians were Gov. Phil Bryant and Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves who both spoke at Harper’s victory party held at the Hinds Community College Clyde Muse Center at the school’s Pearl campus.
The celebratory event was filled with the Republican congressman’s biggest supporters as various officials made speeches, his daughter prepared to sing for her proud daddy and, at one point, a band played the John Hiatt classic “Have A Little Faith In Me.”
