Oxford, Mississippi firm to add 100 jobs
Mortgage technology company FNC Inc. will add 100 jobs to its rolls after inking a deal with Brazil’s largest private asset clearinghouse, Gov. Phil Bryant and company executives said Tuesday.
FNC, started by University of Mississippi professors in the 1990s, owns the U.S. patent on a system that makes it easier for banks and mortgage companies to collect credit information and appraisals, Chief Executive Officer Bill Rayburn said.
“And I’m happy to say that almost all the big U.S. banks use that in processing their mortgages,” Rayburn told a gathering at the company’s offices.
