Cochran gets first-hand look at Isaac damage in Jackson County
Sen. Thad Cochran met H.P. and Lela Naron, his first stop on Coda Road, where so many neighbors were flooded by the Escatawpa River and heavy rains during Hurricane Isaac.
Then Naron’s, both in their 70s, have never seen that property flood and do not have flood insurance.
They got more than a foot of water, and it’s ruined their interior.
A crew from the Southern Baptist Convention was helping gut the house.
