Federal officials toured the Coast on Tuesday to look at the flood-damaged areas as city and county workers continued to clean up from Hurricane Isaac.
Craig Fugate, director of FEMA, visited Hancock County, and U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran, R-Miss., toured flooded areas of Jackson County.
In Hancock County, assessments completed Monday showed several hundred homes received water damage during and after the storm, said Brian Adam, emergency manager for the county.
