Rep. Thompson visits Carroll County
A top Mississippi official paid a visit to Carroll County last week to assure constituents he’s there for them.
U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson (D) was in attendance at Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ in Coila where Carroll County citizens were gathered as well as local elected officials.
“He [Thompson] spoke to us and heard from the citizens,” said Beat Four school board member Laura Davis. “He updated us on what was happening in Congress, and it was a great event.”

US and China take a step back from sky-high tariffs, agree to pause for 90 days
