As Isaac approaches, policyholders should check coverage
Private insurance companies and the state wind pool have put adjusters on standby in case Tropical Storm Isaac strengthens and makes landfall along the Gulf.
Policyholders needs to be ready, too, Insurance Commissioner Mike Chaney said.
Policyholders who have not prepared home inventories in advance should consider doing so now. It’s also a good idea to photograph possessions.
