Gov. Phil Bryant on the campaign trail for Mitt Romney
Mississippi Republican Gov. Phil Bryant hit the campaign trail today in North Carolina for Mitt Romney, including an appearance at a restaurant and bakery in in the hometown of Gov. Beverly Perdue.
Predue recently made remarks about a gay marriage referendum that appeared to insult Bryant and many Mississippians.
Perdue is a Democrat who criticized in May the approval of a referendum banning gay marriage in the state by saying it made North Carolina “look like Mississippi.”
