Bryant: ‘First 10 Days’ proved mettle
Gov. Phil Bryant’s “First 100 Days” have been thoroughly analyzed now, and the results have been generally positive.
But one significant move by the governor surprisingly merited no mention at all in the assessments.
Even though the focus was on the Legislature and how the governor’s agenda has fared, it’s sort of amazing that his abolishment of the Governor’s Mansion inmate trusty and pardon program didn’t rate a sentence in the 100-day recaps we saw and heard.
