CL – Redistricting issue still hanging
Having political parties at odds in the Legislature with one chamber controlled by each, as was the case before last November’s election, was messy and loud. But it also often led to openness.
One of the areas where “quiet” may not be particularly good for the body politic is the redistricting process, where nary a peep is heard these days.
Recall last year when Democrat Billy McCoy was in speaker of the House.
