Entergy Mississippi’s more than 435,000 customers will see their rates drop further than earlier announced through April, May and June.
A typical residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt hours per month will pay roughly $87.60 beginning April 1, according to an Entergy news release. This is about $7.48 less than the average monthly amount paid in March. It’s also $5.60 less than the typical residential customer paid during the second quarter of 2011, when 1,000 kWh of electricity cost approximately $93.20, according to the release.
