Primary 1st re-election test for US Rep. Palazzo
U.S. Rep. Steven Palazzo, R-Miss., will face his first challenge to retain the Mississippi 4th Congressional District seat that he won two years ago when the Republican and Democrat primaries are contested March 13.
Palazzo, who defeated longtime incumbent Gene Taylor in 2010, will face a pair of Republican challengers from Hattiesburg, Cindy Burleson and Ron Vincent.
On the Democrat ticket, Hattiesburg’s Michael Herrington faces Gulfport’s Jason Vitosky.
