Gingrich coming to Mississippi before March 13 primary
GOP candidate and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich is planning to spend the day in Mississippi, including a stop in Harrison County, on March 8 before the state primary on March 13.
“I recommended Harrison County,” said Scott Brewster, Gingrich’s “grassroots” coordinator for Mississippi. “I told them Harrison County really needs to happen. I know that area sometimes feels like the stepchild when it comes to politics. But I know it needs to be a big part of our strategy.”
