Crisp – What’s ahead for Beer bills?

That remains to be seen. Previous Senate Finance Committee Chairman Dean Kirby, R-Pearl, prevented past bills from being discussed by his committee — effectively rendering them dead on arrival. He was not reappointed to that post this year.
I recently asked new Finance Committee Chair Joey Fillingane, R-Sumrall, about the efforts.
