JACKSON, Miss. (AP) – Comedian Bill Cosby is endorsing Democrat Johnny DuPree in the Mississippi governor’s race.
The DuPree campaign has released a short video showing DuPree and Cosby sitting on a couch next to each other. It was shot recently after Cosby performed at a Mississippi casino.
Cosby looks at the camera and says: “I am Bill Cosby and this, ladies and gentlemen, is my choice for the governor of Mississippi. Please consider the choice. And guess what else? I approved this commercial.”
