Manufacturing group endorses Bryant for governor
TUPELO – T&L Specialty Co. makes industrial chemicals and employs more than 20 full- and part-time workers.
But it could employ more people and sell more products if government didn’t get in the way, said company officials.
No wonder, then, that Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant was a welcomed guest at the company on Thursday. Bryant, the Republican nominee for governor, was on a three-day “jobs tour” of the area. At Tamp&L, he received the endorsement of the Mississippi Manufacturers Association.
Bryant, who faces Democratic nominee and Hattiesburg Mayor Johnny DuPree in the Nov. 8 general election, has a 10-point job program he says will keep Mississippi competitive and keep jobs flowing. Among the highlights:
