MIM – List of Senate primaries to follow
We have a number of key Senate primaries that we will be paying attention to tomorrow night.
First, here are some key GOP primaries which either have no Democratic opponents or only minor challengers in November.
SD 1: Sen. Doug Davis (R) is facing a primary challenge from Chris Massey. (No Democratic challenger).
SD 20: In the race to replace Sen. Lee Yancey (R), four Republicans are in the race for this Rankin/ Madison based district: Tony Bahou, Steve Gaines, Josh Harkins, and Knox Ross. (No Democratic challenger).
SD 25: Three Republicans are hoping to replace Sen. Walter Michel (R) in this Northeast Jackson/ Southern Madison based district: Charles Barbour, Sean Corcoran, and Will Longwitz. Cecilia Sampayo qualified for the Democrats.

House Primaries To Follow Tuesday
HD 3: Democrats will nominate someone other than Billy McCoy for the first time in more than 30 years. Running for the party’s nomination are Bobby Wren, Tommy Cadle, and Jimmy Wayne Russell. The winner will meet Tracy Arnold (R) in November.
HD 4: This seat is being vacated by Rep. Greg Ward. Democrats will choose from Steve Fisher, James Nunnally, and Jody Steverson. Republicans will choose from James Benefield.
HD 10: This seat is being vacated by Rep. Warner McBride. Republicans will choose from Sen. Nolan Mettetal and Doug Jones. Democrats will choose from Jordan Bankhead and Greg Hodges.
