Committee Chairs and Campaign Checks

When we looked at the potential committee chair picks that were announced by Billy Hewes on Tuesday, we looked at these a little deeper to see who, if anyone, the men picked to chair the committees were backing.

As we mentioned, Merle Flowers is supporting Tate Reeves in a very big way ($10,000 worth) and stands in line to take the Appropriations job from Doug Davis should Reeves win. Hewes has promised to keep Davis in that chair.

We know little about the loyalties of Dean Kirby, who Hewes would keep as Finance chair.
