Campaign finance reports revealing
With just more than a month until the primary, some prominent Mississippians are putting their money behind candidates for governor and lieutenant governor.
The primary season has pitted coworkers against each other and created some unlikely partnerships, particularly in the lieutenant governor’s race, campaign finance records show.
In what is being billed as the race to watch this cycle, the wife of Mississippi State University football coach Dan Mullen has given $5,000 to lieutenant governor candidate Tate Reeves.
