Campaign Finance Report Reflecting Fundraising from May 1-31, 2011 Demonstrates Continued Strong Support for Phil Bryant’s Campaign
(Jackson, Miss.)—In the campaign finance reports showing fundraising activity from May 1-31, 2011, Phil Bryant has reported having more than $1.7 million cash-on-hand for his campaign for Governor. The Republican primary election is August 2, 2011.
The current campaign finance report for Phil Bryant’s campaign for Governor includes the following details:
Current cash-on-hand on May 31, 2011: $1,722,300
Amount raised from May 1-31, 2011: $238,761
Amount raised from January 1, 2010 to May 31, 2011: $2,629,941
“Phil Bryant’s campaign continues gaining momentum as demonstrated by May’s campaign finance report as well as several recent endorsements from pro-business groups in Mississippi,” said Quinton Dickerson, spokesman with the Phil Bryant campaign for Governor. “It’s clear that people believe experience matters and a proven record of conservative leadership is what we need in our next Governor.”
Yesterday, the 5,300-member Mississippi Association of Realtors endorsed Phil Bryant’s campaign for Governor. The Home Builders Association of Mississippi, with 3,000 members, and the Mississippi Federation for Immigration Reform and Enforcement (MFIRE) have also endorsed Phil Bryant’s campaign.
