Judge won’t dismiss convictions of Minor, Teel, Whitfield
Lawyers for former Harrison County Judges West Teel and John Whitfield made the argument Wednesday after U.S. District Judge Henry T. Wingate denied a motion to dismiss their convictions and that of ex-attorney Paul Minor.
Wingate took no action on the re-sentencing requests and adjourned court until Thursday, when Minor’s attorneys also are expected to ask for a sentence of time served.
