Wali Aziz knows 170 acres of wheat he grows in Long Lake likely are a total loss from floodwaters that have ravaged parts of Mississippi in the last few weeks.
But neither he nor his insurance agent have been able to get a clear sense of how much he’ll be able to recover. That’s because they still can’t get to Aziz’s wheat fields to see the damage up close.
